In 2021 I was commissioned by Altair Real Estate in Erie, Pennsylvania to design and paint a mural for their new office. I assembled a team of artists from Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Rochester, and Buffalo to help paint the 30 by over 100 foot mural. The Altair team wanted to liven up the courtyard in between their newly renovated office and the neighboring building. The mural can be seen through the large windows in their office so I included their signature "Altair Blue" throughout the design.
With this design we hoped to brighten and fill the space with color. The wavy blue line incorporates the company's signature blue color and draws your eyes through the long narrow space. The balance of geometric and organic shapes adds life and movement throughout the courtyard as well. This mural also adds gorgeous pops of colors inside the office through the windows.
Our work was chronicled by Patrick Fisher, Executive Director at Erie Arts & Culture. We later discussed the importance of young artists getting involved in art projects throughout the city. The Erie based seasoned muralist Tom Ferraro also visited to check out our work and offer insight on the process.
Thank you to Altair Real Estate and the Erie art  community for this wonderful opportunity.
